Dr. Hani Sakla’s journey in ophthalmology began with medical education at Cairo University, followed by specialized ophthalmology training and clinical work at the Research Institute of Ophthalmology in Giza, Egypt.
He later received a scholarship from the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs to complete his Doctorate degree in Ophthalmology at the University of Alicante, Spain. He obtained his M.D. in Ophthalmology with Excellent with Honor and completed a fellowship at the Alicante Institute of Ophthalmology, Fundación Jorge Alió.
Dr. Sakla has served as a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at Dubai Hospital. In 2009, he founded Ebsaar Eye Surgery Center in Dubai to provide advanced, focused and patient-centered ophthalmology care.
